Had the worst morning ever. As we all know, the skies were clouded with rain this morning. I wanted to cycle to the bus stop to take a bus to work, like every other day. The rain seemed harmless, with a little drizzle here and there. But lo and behold, heaven just had to mess with me. The moment i started cycling, i got pelted by the rain. Within seconds, my clothes were drenched and soaked. Cursing and swearing. My stubborn self, finally stopped to take shelter at the junction just before the bus stop as the traffic light never seemed to move. When i finally resigned to my fate, to go home and change. Heaven gave me another surprise, the rain cleared up on my way back home. Grumbling my way back home, i had to bathe and change my clothes again. A routine which i dread so badly every morning, i had to do it twice. Sigh.. Reached the office at 9:15. Thankfully today is a friday, i wouldn't last another day at work after today. My spirits were lifted after watching a bit of winter sonata. Yes IBM internet is so much better than school's. |
