Just finished watching the movie, "Message in a bottle".

The movie's plot in my own words below - click on the spoiler if you want to know about the movie. (Warning its a little long)
It was about a story about a man, Garret, whose love for his lost wife so deep that he wrote regrets, wishes and thoughts to his spouse and tossed it to sea. A woman, Theresa torn between a failed marriage happen to chance upon his message in a bottle and fell in love with him through those letters. Eventually, she tracked him down and fell deeper in love with him. Even though he is still lost in his previous relationship, He still managed to love the woman back.
Eventually, his stopped time moves again. But things went wrong went he found out how Theresa met him, they had a fight and stopped seeing each other.
During the cool off period, both of them lived back their normal lives. One a simple life in a quiet sea town, while the other lived a bustling city life with her son.
Garret finally finished the boat that he originally designed and "planned" to build with his wife. He then invited Theresa to the christening of the boat. However, during the ceremony. Theresa could see that Garret could not completely let go of his past and his beloved wife, after all the boat was named after the wife. Theresa decided to leave him, as she thought she did not want to ruin such a beautiful devotion of love which she believed was the man's life.
Garret let her go. But after some soul searching, he went after her by the very own boat he built. Things got grave, when he met a family of three on a boat during a heavy storm on his journey. He saved the father and child and died trying to save the mother..

I really found romance scenes heart warming, as i can really feel that both of the characters just needed someone to hug and love and that touched me a lot.
The movie leaves me with a bittersweet feeling, he's gotta be one of the most devoted man ever. But as usual, we don't always get what we want in life. It hurts but thats the truth.
I find the acting of the father really awesome and humorous, a great addition to the movie. I heard from the comments that the book was a lot better. Even though, the movie was simple but i think it managed to get the message across.
Love is truly such a beautiful thing, even if it never lasts.
Also the movie, really made me envious of living in a sea town. Looks really refreshing and peaceful, i don't mind having a life like that :) But then again i have a lot of different ideals for my dream life.
I'm craving for really sad movies, romantic preferably. If anyone is able to recommend me some, i'd be eternally grateful.
